Join AuthorsLive@GreenwichLibrary on Saturday, May 7 from 1-2:30 p.m. for an afternoon with Connecticut-based young adult author A.L. Davroe in the Library Meeting Room. Davroe will meet with teen readers and aspiring authors for a Q and A and read from her newest novel “Nexis.”

In this first book in Davroe’s new Tricksters series, a young girl loses herself within Nexis, an online virtual reality game, after the crash of her perfect, domed city. A Natural Born amongst genetically-altered Aristocrats, all Ella ever wanted was to be like everyone else. But Nexis isn’t quite the game everyone thinks it is. Lucky for fans of futuristic cyberpunk, a sequel is already written and in the process of being edited.

A.L. (Amanda) Davroe writes both YA and adult speculative fiction. She prefers revisionist tales in paranormal, romance, steampunk, and fantasy. She is the author of “Salvation Station,” The City Steam Collection and “For Your Heart.”

A.L. Davroe lives in Connecticut with what she calls her feline hench-creatures. She describes herself as a terrible blusher, a lover of cuddly animals, Laffy Taffy and Cadbury MiniEggs. She likes purple shoes and corsets. She’s a Capricorn, a Hufflepuff, and claims to be a few nuggets short of a Happy Meal. Visit www.aldavroe.com.
