he famed St. Paul’s-Riverside Book Sale will be held on June 3 and 4 at 200 Riverside Ave., Riverside, CT. The Preview Party, Friday June 3 from 6:00pm-8:00pm, has a $10 admission fee. Saturday June 4 admission is free all day, from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
Held annually for the last 20 years (except 2015) the Riverside sale is a major draw for book dealers and readers alike. The sale will offer more than 8,000 books across all categories from new releases to collectible editions to “beach reading” and kids/young adult books. Books are well sorted by category in the church’s brightly lit and spacious Selleck Hall. Most books sell for $1 or $2 and prices drop the last hour to “$5 a bag”.
Baked goods and coffee will be on sale too. Donations of clean, gently used books, CDs, and DVDs are welcome at the church on May 26, 27, 31 and June 1, from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the programs and mission activities of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
