The State of Connecticut Department of Transportation has been working on the rehabilitation of Metro-North Railroad bridges over Sound Beach Avenue and Tomac Avenue.

The State of Connecticut Department of Transportation (CT DOT) continues the phasing of Project No. 301-092 concerning the rehabilitation of Metro-North Railroad Bridge No. 03948R over Sound Beach Avenue and Bridge No. 03955R over Tomac Avenue. The current phase will involve setting the structural steel over both Sound Beach and Tomac Avenues. This operation requires nighttime (8pm-5am) road closures of both Sound Beach and Tomac Avenues; however both roads will not be closed simultaneously. The project website is located at http://oldgreenwichrrstationbridgerehab.com/ , the website is updated weekly. Anyone wanting additional information on the project should check the project website. The Town of Greenwich, CT DOT and Metro North thanks everyone for their patience and cooperation during this critical construction project.
