Workshop One: An Introduction to Investment and Portfolio Management:
This is an introductory workshop on Investment and Portfolio Management, which is a critical component of Family Financial Planning. We will cover modern portfolio theory and related concepts including asset classes and portfolio risk return, efficient frontier, benchmarking and portfolio construction. We will conclude the workshop with a few portfolio management techniques such as diversification, dollar cost averaging and rebalancing, etc.

The goal is to help audiences learn general investment processes and to identify their investment objectives (or goals), preferences, and risk tolerance level in order to develop future investment policies.
Holly Cao, CFA, has been in investment and wealth management business since 1999. She served as Vice President and Senior Vice President at Citigroup Asset Management, Citigroup Private Wealth Management and Morgan Stanley Wealth Management for more than ten years. Currently she is an independent representative of TransAmerica Financial Advisors.
