Whole Foods Market Greenwich to Support Bruce Museum Family Days - 5% Day on September 15 from 7am to 10pm.
On Thursday, September 15, a shopping trip to Whole Foods Market’s newly renovated and expanded Greenwich location will buy more than natural and organic foods, it will also support Family Days at the Bruce Museum. Whole Foods Market created 5% Community Giving Days, which are hosted four times per year, to give back to the local community. This fall Whole Foods has pledged to support the monthly educational programming for the Bruce Museum’s Family Days with 5% of its net sales on this day. These family-friendly afternoon events are themed to echo the Museum’s exhibitions and feature hands-on art and science workshops, tours of the Museum’s exhibitions, live performances, and inquiry-based games and activities that encourage families to learn together. The Bruce Museum Family Day activities, designed to give children from diverse backgrounds maximum exposure to both scientific and artistic concepts and processes, are free with Museum admission.
