The Greenwich Art Society proudly presents its “100th Annual Members Exhibit”, a milestone exhibition comprised of artwork by Greenwich Art Society members.
The show takes place at The Bendheim Gallery on the 2nd floor at Greenwich Art Center from April 28, 2017 thru June 01, 2017. There will be a public reception on Friday, April 28 from 6:30pm-8pm with a special VIP preview from 5:30-6:30. The Art Center / Bendheim Gallery is located at 299 Greenwich Ave., Greenwich, CT 06830.
“The Greenwich Art Society 100th Annual Members Exhibit” will exhibit a diverse range of works by its members and will feature a curator from one of the major NYC museums as juror for the show. This exhibit marks the 100th year that the Greenwich Art Society, founded by the Cos Cob Colony of Artists of the American Impressionist movement, and will showcase the fine works of its contemporary artists in a highly competitive venue.
“To mark this historic event, we will be hosting a special VIP preview of the exhibit that will bring together some of the award-winning artists of this show with those who wish to have a private viewing of the show and the opportunity to hear the artists speak about their work and inspirations. We also hope to have the juror attend so that he or she can talk about how they curated the show.” explains Anna Patalano, president of the Greenwich Art Society.
Many of the Greenwich Art Society artist/members are locally and regionally recognized for their work.
