The Bernese Mountain Dog Parade, once a tradition in Ridgefield, continued last year in Greenwich.
The parade and picnic, renamed The BernRR (Ridgefield Reinvented), will take place on Sunday, October 9 from 1 to 3pm at the Glenville Fire Department in Greenwich.
According to event organizers, true to tradition, it will be held on Columbus Day Weekend. There will be a number of fun things to do and see including: a pot-luck picnic, a draft demo, CGC testing, two author visits, a blessing of the animals, pet health and safety education, photo ops with the huge Berner flag, and BernerGarde entry opportunities.
